Julie was fortunate to have grown up surrounded by beautiful artwork painted by her grandmother. As a result, introducing original art into client projects always feels right! The Carlisle Design team has grown and so has the mission of sourcing original art in support of local talent along with a commitment to sustainability through sourcing vintage pieces.
We value establishing relationships with many incredible artists, locally and worldwide. Often, the thrill of the search takes our team to vintage shops, and auctions, and from time to time, a gem is found at a garage sale. We are captivated by art’s beauty and are always amazed as we learn about the artist, the inspiration, and the history behind the piece. However, finding art is just one-half of the journey. Seeing how handpicked pieces of art transform and make our clients’ spaces unique is always a beautiful finish to our projects. Art brings undeniable joy and is the design foreground that narrates your story.
At Carlisle Design, we emphasize local and original art as crucial finishing pieces, and even centerpieces, to the work we do. We are passionate about supporting the art communities locally and afar, building our client’s collection of pieces along the way.
